What i am seeing from the past 3 months is a Pakistan that is on the verge of civil disobedience. Nothing is going in Musharaf’s way since 9th March, 2007. I still remember the last sun set of 2006 when every futurist of Pakistan was saying “2007 would be the best year in Pakistan’s history” But what we are seeing here is, the Government has lost all of its rit on places  even in Islamabad. (Jami-e-Hafza) Waziristan has been a nightmare for Musharaf and his allies (better to call them politcal ‘lotas’). On one place Lawyers and media are fighting for their rights, on the other, politians are smashing References at each other in the National Assembly.

Today Pakistan is scattered, divided, leaderless… its as simple as that ! 

Ammar, Shahab and Afan came to me today.. Guess what? for a birthday celebration.. The cake was good.. so do the rest of the stuff to eat.. We went out to Bagh-e-naran cause it was getting too hot in my room. Later on PDA building was the place we ponder. We need to came back quickly because Shahab was having a “hard time” lol. We again went out to cheif. Although silver dragon was decided for ‘Khappa’ but Afan needed some more shughal. Parking at cheif is always difficult specially around 9 to 10 pm. Anyways we came after having mid sized cheif special pizza in our bellies..

No friends were their on b’day.. but as far as my uni friends are concerned.. they came for the celebration. Getting late is not a matter to get angry for. Infact somebody missing his nephew’s birthday and staying in Peshawar just for me or somebody coming all the way from Nowshehra in this hot summer, just for me or somebody leaving rest of his girlfriend shughals, to come just for me.. is something, which i can never return.. May these 3 BC fellows of mine remain happy for ever..

I have been planing to convert arount $200 to Moneybookers.. Moneybookers is quiet good as far as customer support is concerned but still, it takes around 15 days for an ACH direct deposit to a bank which lie even in a country like US. Anyways they are relieable and i never lost a single penny because of them.. and for a country like Pakistan.. we dont have enough options at all.

Yesterday.. on 25th i turned 21… Last night.. 3 people wished me. Baji, all the way from abbotabad.. and Ammi/Baba from basement.. lol.  Obviously they are the people i care the most.. Evening was full of fun and gupshup. I also waited for those who use to call me their friend, just to wish me but none of them did.. Iam really NOT disappointed.. i am used to these things.. lol

Had to go to Gulbahar to see Uncle Ismail.. I was really happy to see him recovering after a massive accident he had about 11 days ago leaving him half dead.. around 20 metallic stitches on the right side of his skull will be unclipped tomorrow at RMI.. May Allah recover his health soon. Ameen.
