You can see what time is it.. when iam posting this message.. It took me this much long since 11 am yesterday when Shahab pointed no in-site link was working here. That really stunned me.. Yesterday wasnt good for me at all.. we waited for Sir Raza from 8am to 3pm for project submission, he didnt came.. As soon as i reached home i started working on this site with my great dialup of 500 bytes per second.. Anyways.. i guess the site is working now. Iam still unable to find what the actual problem was. Infact i just backed up mysql db, exported the previous posts and re configured the complete php source code.. Hope everything would work fine from now on !

Today we had a project presentation of Data comm.. And we presented we didnt know ourselves.. lol The presentation took hardly 4 minutes in which Shahab started up with basic networking hardware description..

Shahab: “We are here to present widescale lan.. next.. A server is the computer which accepts request… next.. Links are the connections between certain networking hardware.. next..”

then after,

Sarmad: “So this is the basic block.. next.. it is showing applications that we specified and the profiles.. next.. this is the simulation.. next.. ”

Ammar: “we are suggesting ip based switches.. next.. this would help in trouble shooting.. next”

Overall our presentation was better if not best… It was more shughal than a sophisticated presentation we had in semester 1 and 2. and ya.. onething i forgot to mention is waqas’s “As ali says”.. hahahahahahaha. Fazal’s presentation was very unique.. demonstrating a network protocol as compared to others who were simulating LAN most of the time. Mujtaba had a hardtime just because he arrived late.. he worked hard on the presentation template and style though..

So today i started blog posts for Martin after about a month or so.. What kicking me were the stupid exams. They arent ended yet coz tomorrow a ‘presentation’ is gonna ‘happen’. Its almost 1:30am and i dont know a single term used in the project report.. i must be going!

At last.. everything stoodup like what i wanted to be. I bought the hosting and domain some where around march-april but was too busy in online stuff and forex. The search of wp template out of hundreds of thousands was another big hurdle to cross. The wp Alexified theme was great but i wanted to have lots n lots of customization. This required some extra bucks which i never want to spend So i had to step in php for the very first time.. 4 hours ago.. i started searching for “built in login page for wp” the plugin required was found soon enough but integration of the plugin with alexified really kicked my ass..

Anyways.. the diary i have been writing for more than 10 years would now be lying the dust as sarmadhassan.com would be sharing the moments i spend.
