Worldcall Internet Speed

July

Shahab and I bought World Call Wireless today.. It was pretty much necessary for two reasons.. First, working for Rever Designs, Shahab often desperately needed internet connection late at night and second, Rs 30 / hour is hell amount of money to pay for browsing at a third class netcafe. Why am i making this post is to just let everybody know that Worldcall internet speed is great as compared to dialup. I have been asking lot and lots of people about wc download speed but nobody wasnt able to give a satisfactory answer.

So if you are looking for something better than fu*kin dialup.. World call’s 10kb/sec is the best choice.

Box Office Record Broken

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opened Wednesday with $44.2 million in ticket sales, easily trumping the $40.4 million Wednesday set by Spider-Man 2 way back in 2002. Phoenix also took over fifth place on the list of the biggest one-day opening tallies, just behind Spider-Man 3 ($59.8 million), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest ($55 million), Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith ($50 million) and X-Men: The Last Stand ($45 million).

iPhones @ ebay

July

was just surfing around and thought what could be the price of iPhone at ebay.. it turned out to be far less than expected. Mostly an 8GB iPhone with two year At&t contract at ebay costs not more than $600 without shipping. If not interested in contract, the largest buy it now price is $895. The thing thats most important of all is that lots of ebay powersellers are offering shipping worldwide which truely is wonderful for people outside US.

I dont know when Paypal will even partially accept payments from Pakistan. It really hurts.. and it sucks. To any Paypal senior official who is watching this.. “You must look beyond the boundries of US”
