Although an event started centuries ago, no one got himself familiarize with it specially in Peshawar until Musharraf’s liberal policies. I was 14 when i first heard the term “Valentine” and read some detailed articles on it in public mags. The change is certainly visible in Peshawar. Last night, on my way back from Sadar, dozens of shops were decorated with flower bouquet. With AVON store branch open in Hayatabad PSO Station, you can buy flowers for your girl friend every day.. and the bouquets are in such a large number that they wont finish up even you got 999+ gf’s

My activities today were, waking up at 2pm after a long restless night sitting in front of damn CRT monitor. Had my lunch at around 2:45pm and from that time onwards am here looking after things i got to manage.

There’s an event scheduled today and thats Ammar Bhatigi’s 1st Birthday.. pretty good day to born han, 14th feb? lol.. Wish that she would get more birthday cum valentine days in future.

Tomorrow am taking computer networks paper.. Shahab lying along side me talking with his sweetheart on cell and am just posting here. Before that we had a fucked up paper of Circuits and Systems. Computer networks is a subject which is kinda theoretical so one can write lot and lots of bongian and take good marks. This is what i did in the mids. Shahab living with me just as my family member. Wish i could have a real brother with whom i can enjoy with, just like this. Anyways, its 1:10am right now and we still got around 30 hours to prepare for the paper (which i guess would be more than enough). I also uploaded the videos of Convocation 2007, here. There are some good vids in that so do check them. All n all i got various stuff to care about, specially Jai needs to get paid coz he paid for my hosting and sent the payment to the domain suggestion contest winner.. (Ill be talking about that later). chalain janab. I gota go now.

Am already late in posting the whole story of Eid-ul-Azha (bari eid).. It was one of the few rare days when provincial government of NWFP and the main government were celebrating eid at the same time, other wise Masjid Qasim Ali Khan announces eid and people of NWFP finish celebrating the eid, before Molana Muneeb-ur-Rehman even presses his eid clothes. anyways, the day before eid day, i-e thursday 20th Dec baba and i went to buy two dumba/bakra.. it took us 5 hours flat to finish this hectic task.

On eid day i woke up at around 7am to take shower in full time sardi. I wore grey shalwar kameez and a black coat before we went to Alzarhooni Masid (the biggest you’ll find in Hayatabad, Peshawar). The prayer started at 8:35 am exact and when we reached home it was 9:20. To find a good slaughterer on eid day specially in hayatabad is the same as to find a needle on a sea shore.. I called in Taimoor, Afan, Faisal and Umair if they came around with any good one. The reply was simple.. NO !  To be short, the slaughtering started at 2:30 after i came from Friday prayers and we were finish including all the safai etc at around 5:15 pm, pretty long isnt it? thanks to the doctor slaughterer, who was CT scanning each and every tissue of our sheep.

Bari eid is always very tiering for a guy like me who dont got any real brother to help him out.. being the only one, i have to take responsibilities like these. Bari eid, infact bari eid aur choti eid.. dono bachion k liye hi hoti hain.. guys are fucked up everywhere.. lol. May Allah bless us all including the 55 martyrs of Charsadda bomb blast who died just because they were praying with a mother fucker called as Sherpao..

Eid days are going fine for me.. hope they would stay that way for everyone else too..

Another home appliance of our home has neglected to work properly.. this time its ammi abbo’s TV…. . Continuing from the last post.. i switched off 21″ inch sony of the main room to enjoy kabab’s to the full.. abbo wanted to see geo and i was ordered to switch the damn thing back on. Bravo…! the picture isnt coming.. whats more interesting is, that the TV turns itself off after 3.. 4 seconds.. hahahahahaha. Anyways.. i had to give some “qurbani” so i lent my brand new tv to the main room.. i really miss my favorite late night shows on history channel.. particularly dog fights, mystery and technology.. ! There is another fatigue waiting for me as i had to take that 40 kg shit to the repairer.. Hope he says that its burnt completely so that baba leave with no option other than buying a new one.. hehehehehe.. !

Just saw my gmail literally spamed with IEEE secretary emails.. lol. Well, seriously IEEE has woken up since the election of the new cabinet. Although not happy with the electrical deptt monopoly, girls are running IEEE  activities up to the mark. The members had a meeting on last wednesday and as expected, word of mouth was played only. A new face was chirping quiet badly, dont know who the hell he was (i hate people trying to show off). There were even ‘jokes’ like “We would raise funds by car wash service” bahahahahahahahaha.

Every meeting of IEEE i attended since i joined, has been ridiculous. It sucks, every time you see members saying.. we should do this, we should attempt that. For God sake, give me a break !  and do something practical.

How i could contribute? well, i am Searching for some good videos to be played on so called “IEEE media Entertainment day” supposed to be held on monthly/biweekly basis. hope, ill be able to find something that would keep viewers stick their eyes on the projection.

I was also thinking of Sir. Shah Mehmood who can deliver an awesome presentation on “The History Of Hacking” a topic which most of the people would find interesting.

Gaming competition is good, but arranging it on monthly basis could be difficult considering the lack of resources. It could be accomplished however depending upon how agile we turn out to be.

Will also try talk to Martin if he is willing to sponsor a couple of memberships donated to students who ask the best question at seminar/workshop etc. The so called best question would be selected by the speaker himself.

i want to build an online forum for IEEE where users could do and say everything they want to. but they dont have enough cash on their hands to buy a web space and investing even $100 would be scary for them.

Hell lot of ideas my mind can burst off.. but you know what? when i stick to something its very difficult for me then to concentrate on other stuff. And nowadays i am really very busy maintaining my sites.  Its 5:45 am now, had a good sehri. I didnt sleep the whole night today again.. and still busy surfing and editing home.html and index.php.. lol.
