Benazir Assassination, I got screwed !

Thursday the 27th, The morning starts off with me waking up at 7:20.. having water on my face, got my clothes on, taking the breakfast, had the shoes laces tied on and switch on the ignition of the car.. ! The car didnt start after 5 attempts and got the battery down. Got 2 chokidars of my street to push it up and there you go.. Not a good beginning to university at all.. ! Anyways the classes went off at around 1:40 and i left uni with Shahab to drop him at Saddar and came after Fawad the awesome car mechanic to tune up the car. He got already 15 customers in the queue so i called Ammar if he know any other guy who can do this for me. To be short, Ammar and me went to Fakirabad after the mechanic and came back at around 5:50-6:00 pm. Ammar’s ammi hospitality made me sit there for tea and some awesome eatable. Just as i eat the last bite of kabab, an sms from a uni friend struck me.. “Benazir died” and i was like 
. i made ammar quickly ran to turn on the tv which he couldnt (the complete pro islamic mahol at his home made them throw stupid tv outa their home) i guess it was ammar’s mom who switched on a radio which confirmed the report..
Panic started right away! Abboo called in me to ask where i was.. he asked me to come straight to home as protesters were supposed to come out to the streets. i understood what he meant.. so quickly sat on the driving seat and drove fast. I knew my car wont run till hayatabad (the tuning caused all the fuel to vanish in the air) anyways stopped by the fuel station when i realized i dont got more than 50/- in my pocket.. 
and there isnt any bank ATM nearby as well. The next thing was i drove to Ammar once again to borrow some cash.. came back to the same station, filled the bullshit tank and drove at 110 km/h at the main gulbahar road.. lol. Just were about to turn at the main Gulbahar chowk near Police station when 40, 50 men came out from the election office of Syed Zahir Ali Shah, candidate for provincial assembly, and start throwing countless stones on the cars and buses. I really dont know how i avoided that but all i know, that i turned the car on the right without seeing if anybody was trying to overtake me or not, and drove as fast as i could in the opposite direction on a oneway road. There were sounds of wind screens shattering as i narrowly missed a bus coming straight into me..
I went to Rasheed Town in Gulbahar to stay at Pupho’s home. I was planing to leave for my home late at night but she refused to let me go. My chacha (who belongs to PPP) asked the local SHO to go with me in the morning. I slept at around 2:45 with all the headache. 4:45 i woke up and couldnt resist going to my home, to my room, to my own bed.. Just took the my car from the porch, prayed Allah to keep me and my car safe and planed that if anybody come in my way, i am gonna crush him under my wheels.. Making this long post short, i broked my own 130KM/h on mehran and reached with in 15 minutes to home where ammi couldnt sleep whole night just because i was not at home.. 
I will post a tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.. One could disagree with her few pro american policies but certainly she was a politician, in fact, a great politician just like her father and an awesome leader. May her soul rest in peace ! Ameen

I will post a tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.. One could disagree with her few pro american policies but certainly she was a politician, in fact, a great politician just like her father and an awesome leader. May her soul rest in peace ! Ameen

nobody is forgetting the corruption.. and amnesty international's annual report for 1996 released in 1997 stated Pakistan to be 2nd most corrupt country (1st one was Russia president ed by Boris Yelson), supports your statement that Benazir government was corrupt.
In a country like Pakistan, dont expect someone to be in power and not involved in corruption. The present regime (PM Shokat Aziz government) has been involved in Steel Mill Scandal and Stock Market crash downs in 2006. There are hardly 10 corruption cases better to call them as "Political Corruption Cases" and benazir government has been convicted in only 2 of them. No wonder after Musharraf is replaced with somebody, we'll see 20 corruption cases after him.

well if you can manage to provide USD 3 billion to Pakistan as stated http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/3453.htm then i would agree with you that dont follow "lil pro american agenda". Dont forget our country is fakir and America is the largest country that provides you the aid. You cant take the money and say we will make our own policies. we arent economically strong enough. and even if Benazir or Nawaz shareef directs foreign office to do what US State department states, Musharraf isnt any different. He only needs "kaali chapkilli".. (condalisa rise) to call him.

politicians are all fucked up.. not just in Pakistan but in India, Russia, US, Bangladesh.. You will find plenty of corruption cases of those bastards. Dont go too far. Take it for India ! Their politicians are assholes. Then why i havent seen any Indian Army General striking off any elected government and saying on Door Darshan, "Meray bhaio aur behno ! ab mai aa gaya hun, sab kuch theek kar doonga" Why the fuck our fucking army generals dont let democratic governments to complete their tenure? If you look back on our political history you will find Army has ruled this country more than the politicians.. You speak of Benazir and Nawaz Shareef to be corrupt. Yes they are! but army isnt any good as well. So give the country in the hands of Political forces and not a dictator. I have nothing to do with Benazir or Nawaz shareef or Musharraf. All i want is Army to follow Quaid-e-Azam's quote that

Benazir and Nawaz shareef hardly governed this country for 4 years each in two separate times. Musharraf has ruled for more than 8 years now alone. and today when we are debating, we are facing worst power failures ever in our life.

Musharraf replaced Nawaz Shareef and not Benazir. jab army ka danda aata hai to sab Saudi Arab bhag jatay hain. thats why am speaking so much against this "army danda".. it shouldnt be here in the first place.

ya we do ! thats because we got sympathy even for those who had done wrong to us. And one shouldve such kinda sympathy. Agar Khuda na khuasta Musharraf got shot in the same way, i wouldve posted about his few good policies as well. If iam commenting here using this much cheap dsl or you talking to 'danu' at night on ufone at RS 4 per hour then its because of Musharraf positive policies. No one wouldve ever thought about a cellphone or internet or these many universities in Benazir/nawaz shareef prime minister ship. you can rotate the picture in whatever direction you want. but when i see the basic necessities to comon person. such as security, Musharraf government is completely failed to provide that. No doubt Benazir was a political leader.. a politian and not a dictator and pirate like Musharraf is. Musharraf hasnt been elected truly by Pakistanis. Benazir, Nawaz shareef have been elected twice by one hundred and sixty million people of Pakistan. If we dont like them, the will of 160 million minus shahab and sarmad on a ballet paper is still dominant.

No matter how much politically unstable Pakistan remains because of Army's involvement in politics, one has to accept the fact that Pakistan still isnt a country you'll come with tom hawks and F18s and bombard on. There comes a series of instabilities before a State gets crippled. (go through history of Soviets). Pakistan will do break apart but not because of Nato forces bombing but because of interior matters just like mind of a common sindhi has turned out to be after Benazir death.
