needless to say I love em, the song is actually from Alan Wake (m not into gaming) Poets are getting better by the day !
You should play the game, even if you're not into games, this is more of an experience. This song is incredible and the game features a few other songs from the Poets, War comes to mind specifically.

it wasn't a lake, it was an ocean… all he did was touch the surface, it's already bigger than he is
hopefully more DLC increases the story… it ended on a … "where's the closure" kinda note
Mark, I havent played the game. One thing Iam sure of is that Sam has this novelistic kinda approach toward games which is different in good sense. You need to wait for the next version any way

The song was spwcificaly written for he game alan wake as the lyrics describe the plot. Though in The game they say that the song was actaully by a fictional band named 'the old gods of Asgard' I think the games creator knows the band and asked them to play a significant role in the game I can see why they are fantastic! As a budding poet I see them as one of my many sources of inspiration.

very awesome song indeed, there are some strong hints to a sequal of the game, I hope it won't be in the form of downloadable content entirely though… last few bits were all downloadeble content. too bad the song is such a small part of the game, poets of the fall can do so much more. you should listen to more of their tracks. the poets have very many sides.
Yep, I am pretty much updated. Didn't played the game so can't really comment on that. Poets hardly come up with songs which aren't awesome. They deserve more fame though !

Lady of the light ravin' in the night: the bright happy side of the comedy is the insane/irrational perspective.
I loved the mystery of the game, and the not so subtle fact that the song itself was a clue. POTF are truly amazing, Old Gods are too..(thanks Barry)
