Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar, the General Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party defeated PML (Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. Another Chaudhry called as Perveiz Elahi is also lagging behind in his respected constituencies. Sheikh Rasheed, the former Information and Railway Minister lost election battle in both his constituencies at Rawalpindi. Some names worth mentioning who lost their ‘military ministeries’ include;
